Dermatology
Dermatology is a medical-surgical specialty that deals with the knowledge of human skin and the diseases that affect it, as well as methods for preventing skin disease and preserving and restoring normal skin. To be more precise, we could say that it deals with the skin, skin appendages, dermo-papillary mucous membranes and associated external configuration.

Aesthetic Dermatology Unit:
Chemical peels: Application of a chemical to the skin in a controlled manner for the improvement and renewal of damaged layers. According to the type of peeling and the application method, the treatment can be directed to the improvement of particular imperfections: greasy skin, spots, rejuvenation...
Botulinum toxin: This purified natural protein relaxes facial muscles. It is injected in small doses where there are expression line wrinkles, for example between the eyebrows, to reduce those wrinkles and prevent the appearance of new ones. In expert hands, the injection of botulinum toxin is a safe treatment that has been used for almost 20 years with very good results. No allergy test is required. Very small doses are given which do not accumulate over the years. Keep in mind, the effects are always reversible.
Hyaluronic Acid Injections: Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide that is found naturally in our bodies in various tissues such as cartilage or skin. It is characterized by its water retention capacity (a percentage equivalent to thousands of times its weight) which explains its contribution to the hydration and smoothness of the skin. It is used in aesthetic dermatology for the reduction of expression lines (marked wrinkles, depressed nasogenic grooves), as well as for enlargement (lips, cheekbones) and remodelling of soft tissues (bags under the eyes, nose). It can also be used in the form of mesotherapy to provide greater luminosity and hydration to the skin.
Diagnosis and treatment of facial blemishes
Thread Lift (double needle): The alternative to a surgical facelift. Threads are introduced from different points of the face, according to the area to be treated, causing an immediate effect of reduced sagging, as well as a sustained effect since new collagen is deposited on these threads and provides the skin with greater smoothness. They are re-absorbable and their effect lasts for up to 2 years after they have been put in place.
Body aesthetics: Treatment of localized fat, treatment of hyperhidrosis, treatment of varicose veins.
Torn ears
Removal of “unsightly” benign skin lesions: (fibroids, seborrheic keratoses, benign moles, solar lentigines ...)
Treatment of varicose veins in legs: Study of extension of varicose veins and treatment through sclerotherapy.
