Sleep-disordered breathing, insomnia, parasomnia, restless legs syndrome, narcolepsies, and night epilepsies are some of these pathologies. The sleep apnoea syndrome and insomnia are the most common sleep disorders, they affect a large part of the population and are a serious public health problem, with repercussions on the quality of life.
At the Neurology-Neurophysiology Service of Hospitales Universitarios San Roque, we have ambulatory polygraphy and polysomnography (PSG) with EEG video to carry out a comprehensive study of these pathologies.
We have also implemented a specific consultation for the diagnosis and monitoring of neurological pathologies linked to sleep to provide a multidisciplinary approach where different specialists are in contact to tackle the problem (pneumologists, E,N&T specialists, internists and neurologists…).
